To open, place in a medium
oven briefly to loosen meat from shell. Then break with a hammer or
against a pointed, sharp edge or drop from a height onto a hard floor.
Pierce two of the soft "eyes" with an ice pick and drain coconut milk into
a container with a lid; and refrigerate immediately. Use within 24 hours.
Peel the thin brown skin off the white meat with a vegetable paring knife.
When cut and placed in the oven or microwave the flesh will separate from
the hard shell.
