Celery
   A stalk and shoot vegetable.

European origin. Varieties are Pascal or green celery and also white celery.

Select   Fresh, crisp, clean bunches, brittle enough to snap easily. Stores well if kept cold and moist. Available all year.

Serve Hot, as a vegetable with meat, poultry and fish; or in soups, casseroles and stews.

Cold, raw, salads, appetizer, snack.
