Spreading plant, celery-like in character, dark green foliage and hallow stalks. Roots are 3 to 4 inches in diameter, knobby, bulbous, and fairly smooth. Only one variety listed in seed categories Large or Giant Smooth Prague. Roots should be solid and tender and may be be purchased or come washed or unwashed.
