poor

flavor.
Decay

as
dark
brown
spots
on
the
surface
and
may
progress
rapidly.

eggplant
that
are

6
inches
in
diameter Grades
U.S. No. 1 consists of eggplant of similar variatal characteristics which
are fairly well colored, firm, clean fairly well shaped and are free of decay
and worm holes.
