Cannelloni kan-uh-LOW-nee ("big
reeds" in Italian) are large pasta tubes,
approximately 4 inches long and
1 inch wide,
cut
straight on both ends with a smooth surface,
that are usually stuffed with a meat or cheese filling and
baked.
The name is also used for the finished casserole.
