Worcestershire Sauce

Originally from India, this spicy, dark brown liquid was first bottled in England.  It is a product derived from a fermentation process like soy and fish sauce.

Ingredients include anchovies, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar and tamarind.

Worcestershire sauce is an ingredient in many dishes to include Caesar Salad and Bloody Marys.  It is also used in sauces, dressings, gravies and soups, and drizzled on grilled meats.  Worcestershire sauce keeps indefinitely at room temperature.
