Midway originated in Maryland in 1951.  Berries are long, cone shaped, with firm flesh and a firm surface, medium to large in  size.  The color is glossy, rich red color, and this mid season variety is of good dessert quality.  This variety freezes well and is a leading variety of Michigan and is used throughout the Northeastern States and south to Maryland.
