Banana  on the market from August to March.  A cylindrical shaped squash moderately tapered at the base and apex.  The Banana reaches a harvesting length of 18 to 24 inches and a diameter of 5 to 6 1/2 inches at its thickest part.  The skin is moderately smooth to slightly wrinkled with a skin color of pale olive gray changing to creamy pink in storage.  The thick flesh of orange buff color is moderately dry with a fine texture containing a large seed cavity.  A Banana Variety named the Pink Jumbo Banana used in canning reaches a length of 48 inches long and 12 inches in diameter.
