Long pale green leaves of this vegetable give the head a  shape resembling romaine.  In the United States the cabbage carries the title of Nappa, named after the Nappa Valley where it is grown.

Select  firm white leaves, and eat as soon after purchase as possible.  The Cabbage can be stored for several days in the refrigerator.

This cabbage has several popular uses including stir fry, and boiled and served with butter.
