Loring
  a mid season variety, medium sized, lightly colored freestone, with yellow flesh, medium texture, firm, good quality and packs well.  Originated by Missori State Fruit Experimental Station and introduced commercially in 1946.  Ripens 1 to 1 1/2 weeks before the Elberta and a few days after the Sunhigh.
