Elberta
a late season variety, large oval freestone, with a bright blush, yellow fleshed, firm, juicy, medium quality, excellent shipper.  Adapted to many region and is well known in every market. Originated from an open pollinated tree of Chinese Cling grown by Samuel H. Rumph of Marshville, GA. in 1870.
