J.H. Hale
is a late variety, round, brightly colored freestone with almost no down, yellow fleshed, firm, good quality, excellent shipper.  A chance seedling by J.H. Hale of Glastonbury, Conneticut and introduced in 1912.  Ripens about a 1/2 week after the Elberta.
