U.S. Standards for peaches are as follows:  U.S. Fancy. U.S. Extra No.1, U.S. No.1, and U.S. No.2.

U.S. No. Extra No.1   must meat U.S.No1 requirements with the additional requirements of 50%, by count, of a lot shall have not less than one fourth of the surface showing blushed pink or red.

U.S. No.1  not soft or overripe, well formed, free from decay, growth cracks, cuts which are not healed, worms, worm holes, and free from damage caused by bruises, dirt or-other foreign material, bacterial spot, scale, hail injury, other diseases, insects, or mechanical means.
