The Genova is the leading variety of Chile.  It has an ellipsoidal shape with a smooth rind and is medium in size.  The rind is relatively thin and the flesh contains few seeds. The Genova is more cold tolerant than the Eureka and has fewer small thorns on the fruiting branches.
