Catarina Shaped like a parakeet's beak it measures .75 to 1
inch in length, has a green to red color and is very hot and is usually
found dried. When dried the translucent red fruits have seeds that
rattle. This peeper is a favorite in Mexico for tamales and used in
green pepper sauces. In its fresh green form it is sometimes called
mirasol.
