White Paris  A romaine family lettuce, with large, self closing intermediate or late season variety that forms a tall cylindrical head, leaves oval and flat to slightly flat, curving inward at the ends and overlapping to form a loaf shaped, loose head with excellent quality.  This firm crisp, sweet, fresh tasting variety had its beginnings in Europe.
