Beerwurst, Beer Salami [cooked, smoked sausage ]  Meat is chopped and blended with curing ingredients and seasonings. After 48 hours, mixture is stuffed into beef bungs, and cooked at high temperatures in the smokehouse. When a round shape is desired for uniform slicing, large artificial casings are used.
Slice for sandwiches, cold meat platters, snacks. .Ingredients: Beef, pork.
Seasonings: Garlic, pepper, salt, sugar .
Availability: Packaged slices in supermarkets or bulk to slice in sausage shops, delicatessens.
