MECHANICS AND USE OF THE FRENCH KNIFE
![](../Images/video%20camera.gif)
The correct use of the French knife, as with all knives,
begins with the maintaining a proper level of sharpness or edge. The less
force the user needs to complete a task, the more control he or she has
over the knife. Proper control allows for uniformity, maximum utilization
of energy, and the reduction of safety hazards.
