Southport White Globe  Adapted to the northern onion growing areas.  Used for both bulbs and green-bunch onion production.  The bulbs are medium size and globe to high globe in shape.  The flesh is rather firm and pungent, but not so pungent as those strains developed for dehydration purposes.
