It
is
adapted

to
northern
growing
areas
and
North
Central
states.
The
bulbs
are
medium
size,
globe
shaped,
have
dark
yellow
scales
that
are
said
to
be
very
tough.
Due
to
its
hard
texture
and
tough
scales
this
variety
is
suitable
for
machine
handling.
The
flesh
has
a
pungent
flavor.
