the
Rockies.
The
fruit
is
long
and
blocky,
weighing
28
to
35
pounds,
with
a
light
grayish-green
skin
with
darker
green
spines.
The
flesh
is
bright
red,
crisp,
sweet,
of
superior
quality
and
flavor
and
the
seeds
are
black.
The
rind
is
relatively
thin,
but
very
hard.
