Duncan - includes the Duncan, Walters, Silver Cluster or Hall, McCarty, and Excelsior Yellow rind, seedy, medium to large size, with a diameter of 3.5 to 5 inches and a height of 3.25 to 4.38, and ranges in shape from round- flattened at the poles, to spherical, almost spherical, to egg shaped. The rind is medium thick 3/16ths to 1/4 inch with medium large oil glands, smooth surface, strong pleasant aroma glandular layer thick making up 1/3 to 1/2 of the rind's thickness, 12 to 14 segments, membranes medium tender, flavor excellent , with 30 to 50 seeds.  This is a mid season variety
