Early Sun Grand  Medium size, elongated, irregular, sometimes has a small fleshy tip, the skin has a bright red blush, often with indistinct stripes, over amber, often greenish at stem end.  Flesh of light amber, often with slight greenish cast, fine texture, and somewhat softer than most varieties, slight aroma, freestone, and comes to market the third week of June
