Brandywine Yellow
Lycopersicon esculentum
Not itself an heirloom it was
derived from the popular heirloom variety, the Brandywine.
Introduced in 1995, it has an orange fruit, with a rich flavor similar
to that of the very popular Brandywine. The plants have large
leaves and resemble potato vines. Large yellow fruit of exceptional
quality, creamy texture and gourmet taste. Fruit size is from 12 to 24
oz. An extremely good tasting tomato and one that is especially
beautiful.
