differing
mainly
in
size.
This
is
a
bush
squash,

straight,

cylindrical

apex.

skin
is
smooth
but
ribbed
widely
and
shallowly
and
the
skin
is
alternately
striped
in
definite
lines,

very
dark
green
or
dull
greenish
black
and
pale
greenish
yellow.

fine
lacelike
pattern.
This
squash
is
usually
at
its
peak
when
it
is
picked

8
inches
long
and

to

inches
in
diameter.
These
squash
when
left
to
grow
can
reach
14
to
18
inches
long
and
3
1/2
to
4
1/2
inches
in
diameter.
