Cocozelle
  Vegetable Marrow type, widely grown and on the market year around.  The two general types are:  Long Cocozelle and Short Cocozelle, differing mainly in size.  This is a bush squash, the fruits are straight, almost cylindrical when young, with a very slight enlargement at apex.  The skin is smooth but ribbed widely and shallowly and the skin is alternately striped in definite lines, with very dark green or dull greenish black and pale greenish yellow. these stripes appear as a fine lacelike pattern.  This squash is usually at its peak when it is picked 6 to 8 inches long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter.  These squash when left to grow can reach 14 to 18 inches long and 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches  in diameter.
