      U.S. Fancy shall consist of beans similar in varietal 
      characteristics which are uniform in size, well formed, bright, clean, 
      fresh, young and tender, firm free from damage caused by leaves leaf stems 
      and other foreign matter, disease or insects.  Not more than 10% by 
      weight of any container may be under spec.

   shape
   for
   the
   variety
 
		- Firm-pods
   are
   not
   wilted
   or
   flabby
 
		- Damage-any
   injury
   or
   defect
   which
   materially
   affects
   the
   appearance
   or
   the
   edible
   or
   shipping
   quality. 
   Pods
   having
   spots
   from
   disease
   shall
   be
   considered
   damaged.
 
		- Fairly
   Well
   Formed-
   pods
   are
   not
   badly
   crocked,
   curled,
   twisted,
   or
   otherwise
   badly
   misshapen
   for
   the
   variety.
   excessively
   tapered
   pods
   caused
   by
   unfavorable
   pollinating,
   are
   not
   considered
   well
   formed.
 
		- Over Mature-
   the
   walls
   of
   the
   pods
   are
   distinctly
   woody
   or
   fibrous
 
		- Serious
   Damage-
   any
   injury
   or
   defect
   which
   seriously
   affects
   the
   appearance
   or
   the
   edible
   or
   shipping
