Pernambuco 3 to 4 lbs. with a cylindrical shape, tapering at the top. The flesh is yellow-white, tender, juicy with a mild sweet flavor and less acid than the Cayenne. The main growing area is in Brazil, and is sold mainly to the fresh market. This variety has erratic ripening habits and varied appearance.
