Keitt The fruit is large of about 4 3/4 inches in length and a weight of 24 ounces ( some have been as much as 32 ounces or more). The shape is oval, plump and thick. The color is yellow with light pink blush and with lavender bloom. The flesh is juicy, fibreless, except near the seed, rich flavor and sweet, and very good quality. The stone is small 7 to 8.5 percent of the fruit's weight. The season is August and September. The most purchased variety. This variety transports well and is considered the best late variety.
