U.S. No.1 clean roots, similar varietal characteristics, well formed, smooth, firm, tender, and free from decay and free from damage caused by freezing, growth cracks, air cracks, pithiness, disease, insects, or mechanical or other means.  Bunched radishes shall have tops that are fresh, free from decay, free from damage and free from yellowing.

Standard bunches- uniform in size, radishes in a bunch can not very more than 1/2 inch in diameter.

Size Terms  Small means less than 3/4 inch in diameter;  Medium means 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter;  Large means 1 to 1 1/4 inches in diameter and Very Large means 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
