crop

the
South.

grown
in
southern
Texas
until
1945
when
it
was
largely
replaced
by
the
Excel.
In
1952
when
Granex
was
released
much
of
the
Bermuda
acreage
was
converted
to
the
Granex.
The
bulbs
are
flat
,
and
the
flesh
is
soft
and
mild.
Storage
life
is
short
and
few
are
now
being
grown.
