There are a variety of small game many of which are never found on a restaurant menu, yet hunters pursue these animals for tasty traits and meat in rural areas of the United States.  Some of these are regional specialties like the gray squirrel with is a main ingredient in Brunswick Stew along with okra, tomato, corn, lima beans and bell peppers.
