Sticky rice is also called waxy, glutinous or sweet rice,
is a short grain rice. It tends to disintegrate during cooking so it is
often soaked and then steamed instead of boiled. Despite its names
it has no gluten and is not sweet. This rice is often used for rice
pudding and sushi.
