Zucchini Preparation
 

To Prepare for Cooking and Serving   Trim stem ends and slice across or lengthwise. Or use whole, if small and tender. Zucchini can be served raw as an appetizer or cooked in soups, skillet dishes and with meat, poultry and fish.

Test for Doneness The center of thin slices becomes transparent. As they cook very quickly, watch carefully. Whole zucchini or large slices should be fork tested.
