Profiteroles
with Thyme Creme Fraiche

 
Profiteroles Servings: 4
Amount Measure Ingredient
2 ounces All purpose flour
1 ounce  Water
1 pinch  Salt
3/4 ounce Butter
1 each  Whole egg
Creme Fraiche
Amount Measure Ingredient
1/4 cup Creme fraiche
1 tsp. Thyme, finely chopped
     

Preparation:
Bring water and butter to a boil, add flour and combine until smooth. Remove from heat, add egg, and combine until smooth. Pipe into desired shape and bake at 400 degrees until golden brown and puffed.

Combine thyme and creme fraiche. Pipe into profiteroles when cooled.
