Pumpkin Quality There are no grades for pumpkins but some general criteria should apply as to other winter squashes. they should be well matured, not broken or cracked, free from soft rot or wet breakdown, and from excessive scarring, free of indications of freezing, and they should be clean. Generally. pumpkins are expected to have a rich, orange color. |
