Cooking Bacon

Pan fry Place separated bacon slices in a shallow preheated and cook over a low heat. Try to maintain the sliced flat in the pan.  Turn slices often.  Do not let the fat in the pan smoke as it will give off a scorched flavor.  When evenly brow remove and drain fat in perforated pan or on absorbent towel.
Bake Arrange the bacon slices on pan or rack over shallow pan.  Bake at 400° F. for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.  This process requires no turning of the product so is ideal for quantity operations
Broil Place bacon slices on a rack 3 to 3.5 inches below heat source.  Broil two to three minutes to a side, turning once. This method requires close attention as burning and uneven cooking can happen very quickly.
