Cooking Bacon |

Pan fry | Place separated bacon slices in a shallow preheated and cook over a low heat. Try to maintain the sliced flat in the pan. Turn slices often. Do not let the fat in the pan smoke as it will give off a scorched flavor. When evenly brow remove and drain fat in perforated pan or on absorbent towel. |
Bake | Arrange the bacon slices on pan or rack over shallow pan. Bake at 400° F. for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. This process requires no turning of the product so is ideal for quantity operations |
Broil | Place bacon slices on a rack 3 to 3.5 inches below heat source. Broil two to three minutes to a side, turning once. This method requires close attention as burning and uneven cooking can happen very quickly. |
