Coldpack cheese, or Club cheese, is a blend of one or more
varieties of fresh and aged natural cheese. Coldpack cheese is similar to
process cheese, except that it is mixed into a uniform product without
heating. It may have a smoked flavor.
Coldpack American cheese and Coldpack Swiss cheese are the
principal varieties. Their flavor, usually aged or sharp, is the same as
the natural cheese used. The body is softer than natural cheese and it
spreads easily.
Coldpack cheese is packed in jars, rolls, or links. It is
especially good as an appetizer, snack, or dessert.
